A great way of being involved with SWTz, other than sponsoring a child, is to support our general running costs!

As well as the costs involved in feeding and clothing our children, we have additional regular costs such as:

• salaries for our Tanzanian staff

• rent of our homes

• transporting our children

• utilities such as electricity and water

• maintenance of our homes

These costs are not met by the sponsorship of an individual child. So, how about getting involved with SWTz by giving to our general running costs? You choose how much you want to give - we have sponsors who give between £5 a month to £100+ a month to the project. Every single £ makes a difference. Look at what these amounts can cover on a monthly basis:

• £5 meets electricity bills for all our homes

• £35 is the rent for our smallest home, or our cooking fuel costs

• £50 is salary for one staff member, or our general household expenses

• £70 is the rent for one of our larger homes, or our transportation expenses

• £100 is salary for two staff members
